Comida de Intercambio de Idiomas, por A.F.García
Una vez más, y por segunda vez en Casa del
Nono, hemos celebrado una comida-encuentro, un cordial encuentro. Este
restaurante, que podemos catalogar de buen yantar, está pegado a la
carretera, entre La Azohía e Isla Plana, a la derecha si se va hacia Isla Plana,
pedanía a la que pertenece, o a la izquierda, si la dirección es contraria.
Creo que es uno de los mesones más acogedores para encuentros de este tipo.
En estos encuentros no solo se intercambia
idiomas, que también se hace, espontáneamente, se comparte sobre todo
humanidad, amistad… en el mejor de los sentidos.
En este grupo, algo más de veinte personas,
imposible de enfocarlos en una sola foto, había españoles, ingleses,
holandeses, alemanes, belgas, franceses. Los dos primeros son mayoría.

As you know, the exchange is organized by the Torre de Santa Elena Association.
It is not compulsory to be a member of the
association to attend the exchange but membership fees enable the association
to pay running costs and to benefit the community.
If you decide to be a member, the cost for the
whole family for one year is €12.
There are more activities organized by the
association, for example yoga, film nights, basket-weaving and painting, and
other cultural and discussion activities. All are free to attend for members.
In addition the association organizes trips to
places of interest for all residents and visitors, with a reduced price for
members.

You can do this at the exchange meetings through
one of the organizers.
